Christmas ideas

Neckties can be useful in several Christmas projects, from the plain red and green, to the novelty holiday ones.

Here's an inventive way to use Christmas-themed ties--decorative bell pulls.
Melissa says, "I ironed the ties onto fusible batting, backed them and used regular fabric for the binding."

There are so many ways to use neckties in handmade Christmas stockings.
Here is a cute example.


You can always make gifts or ornaments with ties.

I've seen that book "Daddy's Ties" advertised on various sites, but haven't ordered it because I didn't know if I would find it useful. Thanks for posting these photos Barb - I'll be getting that book for sure, now!

Me again - Ken bought a Santa Claus tie this year to wear to his family lunch on Xmas Day, but his Mom got sick and he didn't feel like celebrating, so the tie has been put away till next year. If I put it in my stash, I wonder if he'd miss it? Nah, better not...
