Circular Quilt


Karen, of Quilt Luver, sent me a photo of another quilt she posted about previously.
This quilt (more like a wall hanging) was at a show in Durand, Michigan.
No information is available about the creator.
It's fun to see the different variations of patterns that people choose with ties.
This round pattern is popular in rugs too.

I do like this. It's very similar to the rugs on links that you have in earlier posts. I wouldn't make a rug out of this, but a wall hanging would be neat. It would be fun to play with colors, they could be extreme opposites, or graduated in tone and shade...

This quilt is featured in Shirley Botsford's book,Daddy's Ties on page 85. Her book also gives the directions for making the quilt.
